Artist Susan Harbage Page invites others to join her in a day of border crossings

Susan Harbage Page invites you to “Cross the Border” with her this Saturday, December 19 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m at the Gateway International Bridge between Brownsville, TX and Matamoros, Mexico.

The White box Project made an appearance Friday at the American Leadership Forum in Concord at the Cabarrus College of Health Science. We all peeled back a few layers of our privilege.

Had the opportunity to speak about the Postcards from Home Series and the U.S.–Mexico Border Project to the photography department at Maryland Institute College of Art on November 12.

Whether intentionally or by accident, artists address important and challenging topics such as race, identity, and social justice. Rodney Foxworth will moderate a conversation with panelists that brings fresh insights to this larger discourse and sheds new light on the challenging artworks on view at the BMA.

Panelists include Dr. Sheri Parks, Associate Dean for Arts and Humanities at University of Maryland, Dr.
